Privacy Policy
This policy covers Tenney Technologies LLC ("we," "us") — this website, our conversations with prospective clients, and the client accounts we run. It explains what information we hold, why, and how to have it removed.
We do not sell your information, and we never have. There is no advertising in anything we run, and no advertising data.
This website
This site uses a privacy-first analytics tool from our hosting provider to measure page performance and visitor counts. Per its provider, it does not collect or use visitors' personal data and does not build a profile of you. There is no advertising on this site and no advertising tracking.
Our hosting provider also processes ordinary web request information in the course of serving the page.
Links out to a booking page or a form take you to a third party operating under its own privacy policy.
When you get in touch
If you email us, book a call, or fill in a questionnaire before a meeting, we keep what you tell us: your name, business, contact details, and what you said about your business and the problems you want solved. We keep it in our contact records so that the next conversation starts where the last one ended.
We use it to talk to you about working together. We do not add you to a marketing list you didn't ask for, and we do not pass your details to anyone else to sell to you.
When we record a meeting
We use a transcription service to record and transcribe meetings so we can write accurate notes instead of half-listening while typing. We will tell you when a meeting is being recorded. Ask us not to, and we won't.
When you become a client
We hold your account and billing details, the contact information for the people we work with, and records of the work itself.
Payments. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach our systems. We see the fact of a payment, not the card.
Your business data. Running a service for you means processing material your business gives us — documents, recordings, images, records, and similar. That material is yours. We process it to run the service for you and for no other purpose. We do not use it to market to your customers, and we do not sell it or share it for anyone else's use.
Who else touches it
We use outside providers to run the business — hosting and infrastructure, a payment processor, email and calendar, a contact-records system, document signing, and transcription. They process information on our behalf, under their own security and privacy obligations, and only to provide their service to us.
Where a service you have hired us to run connects to a platform you already use, information flows to that platform because that is the point of the service, and it is then governed by your agreement with that platform.
We will tell you which specific providers are involved in your account if you ask.
We may disclose information if the law requires it.
The VetPost app
The VetPost mobile app has its own privacy policy covering what the app collects on a phone — recordings, photos and videos, and practice pairing. It is the policy that applies to app users and is the one filed with the app stores: vetpost.app/privacy.
How long we keep things
Contact and conversation records are kept while there is a live relationship or a reasonable prospect of one. Client material is kept for as long as we run the service, and stays available afterwards so that returning later doesn't mean starting from nothing. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Having your information removed
Email ct@tenneytechnologies.com and tell us what you want removed — a specific record, your contact details, or everything associated with your business. We will delete it and confirm when it is done, apart from anything we are required to keep for tax or legal reasons. You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold about you.
Material already delivered into systems you control is yours to manage; we cannot remove it from your own accounts.
Security
Information is encrypted in transit. Access to client systems is limited to the people who need it to do the work, which today is a very short list. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects your information.
Children
Our services are business tools. They are not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. Questions: ct@tenneytechnologies.com.
